Even thou they have a big contract with sporting giants Adidas, they are facing issues and have to wear the replica shirts
Chaos. That's the best word to describe Manchester United right now. The once famous club only has the name left, everything else is a downgrade since Sir Alex Ferguson left the club in 2012. On a weekly (if not daily) basis, some bad/funny/unbelievable things are happening to the Red Devils, and it goes back to the last season, or even the one before. There have been leaks spotted around Old Trafford when it's rained heavily over the last few years and the issues is still not resolved, as the fans complained about it (again) just a month ago against Crystal Palace. Marson Greenwood was charged for suspicion of rape and assault, and was shipped on a loan to Getafe when the chargers were dropped, Antony is in the process of proving his innocence after a multiple allegations of violence against women, while Jadon Sancho has been kicked out of the first team due to the lack of discipline.
United's officials mistakenly invited a convicted pedophile to be a special guest at the biggest women’s football match in the club’s history and have him an homage (Geoff Konopka), Alexandro Garnacho posted a gorilla emoji next to the photo of goalkeeper Andre Onana, Marcus Rashford decided to go clubbing for his birthday on the eve of the 3-0 loss to Manchester City (even thou it was not his actual birth day), and off course, the players are in bad form, losing five games so far, which is their worst start since 1986. What can go wrong, apart from (maybe) losing to Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup tonight? Is there another embarrassing moment?
Well, there is. According to Daily Mail, United's players are not wearing their original jerseys, but rather replica shirts! Even thou they have a big contract with sporting manufacturers Adidas, some players have been complaining about the jersey's, which are apparently too tight, while replica's are more loose. The players also have not worn the official home socks since the second game of the season, as apparently they are too tight on their calves. Both United and Adidas declined to comment, but it's believed the issues will be resolved quickly. Unbelievable.
