Cristiano Ronaldo again made some controversial comments
Cristiano Ronaldo is at the spotlight again. Many will say that he is always in the spotlight and that may be true, but sometimes it’s because of his actions or something related to him but now it’s because he gave a big interview for his favorite journalist Piers Morgan, in which he gave a lot of flashy statements but now the second part has been released and the controversial statements just keep coming. This is the same journalist in which show did he attacked Manchester United and coaches Ralf Rangnick and Erik ten Hag before he left the English club for the second time. In the first part, Ronaldo confirmed that he is better than Messi, criticized Manchester again, announced that his retirement will come ‘soon’ and that he would make more attention on the beach than David Beckham, and in this part, he tried to prove that the Saudi League, in which he plays since 2023 is better than most world leagues. But that’s not all….
Mohamed Salah was the Premier League’s top goal scorer last season with 29, While Erling Haaland scored two goals less the year before. And yet, Ronaldo had no trouble claiming that he would surpass that number easily. "If I were still playing in the Premier League, I would have as many goals as this season" he said. So far, Ronaldo scored eight goals in seven leaguer games. In the last 10 games with Manchester, he scored one. Signing a massive contract back in 2023 and the new extension this season, the former Real player is also obligated to promote the Saudi Arabia culture and the league too, so nobody should be surprised he is so high on the football in his current country.

But some of his statements are really…odd.
"For me, it's easier to score in La Liga than in the Saudi League. They don't know what it's like to run in 40-degree heat, they just don't. I'll say it again, the Saudi League is much better than the Portuguese League, obviously, and the French League, there's only PSG. They should include the goals scored in the Saudi League when talking about the Golden Boot. Why don't they count the goals? Ask the other players who play here if it's easy, everywhere I've gone I've scored" he said. Since joining Al Nassr, Ronaldo has scored 102 goals in 115 games for the club in all competition.
