This could be one of the most significant moves in the next transfer window after the end of the season
Cesc Fabregas is doing a serious job with Como in the Serie A, and according to Italian newspaper Il Messaggero the Spanish tactician has attracted interest from a number of serious clubs.
They claim that the City Group are studying the former Arsenal, Barcelona and Chelsea midfielder in the event that Pep Guardiola leaves before the end of his contract, which seems more and more realistic with each new day.
Il Messaggero also claims that Inter and Milan are both monitoring Fabregas' situation in the future event of departures for Simone Inzaghi and Sergio Conceicao. The latter has already been highly criticized after the Rossonerri were shown the Champions League exit doors at the hands of Feyenoord.
Como are currently 13th, but have already earned a reputation as one of the most entertaining Serie A sides. During the process, they've also managed to beat several big teams like Roma, Napoli, Atalanta and Fiorentina.
Como's displays have earned Fabregas serious praise, including Roma boss Claudio Ranieri, who is "convinced" that the Spaniard will become one of Europe's top coaches within the next "three or four years".
