It doesn't matter left or right, with Haaland up front Pep can sleep tight

Another spectacular performance of the Norwegian striker as Manchester City brush West Ham aside (3-0)

You know the old myth about the bulls and their rage when they see something red in front of them? Well, that's nothing more than a myth, since they're red-green colourblind, but unlike them, Erling Haaland obviously has some inner trigger when he sees West Ham in front of him.

The Manchester City striker has now scored as many as 11 goals against the Hammers, with the last two of them coming on Saturday night in a 3-0 landslide win at the Etihad.

The Norwegian beast netted twice against Nuno Espirito Santo's men for a routine victory that keeps City in the Premier League title race. It was a one-way street for most of the game, especially before the break, as Pep Guardiola's side was eager to wrap up the match as soon as possible.

That's how they broke the deadlock - within the opening five minutes, as Haland scored with his right, from a rebound.

That nightmare start seemed to have dismantled the visitors instantly, with the ball staying almost all the time in City's possession.

Haaland was close to scoring the brace but missed it from a close range before Tijjani Reijnders finally put his name on the scoresheet, for the only third time since the start of the season.

Interestingly, West Ham did show the necessary desire upon the return from the break, but failed to capitalise on it and were brutally punished on the other end - by none other than Haaland, again. And after a back-to-back attempt, only this time scoring with his left foot.

The tempo immediately dropped, with both teams focusing on taking it slowly until the end.

Hammers got hammered by mighty Erling, just like every other time.
