The forward scored five goals for Vihiga Bullets before joining Homeboyz.

A week after making the switch from league strugglers Vihiga Bullets to high flying Kakamega Homeboyz, Mike Isabwa is angling for Nzoia Sugar’s scalp.

The forward was Bullets’ silver lining in an otherwise dark season that will need a miracle if they are to extend their stay in the league as they are nine points from safety.

Speaking to Mozzart Sport, Isabwa admitted that the clash will not be a walk in the park with the teams fighting different fortunes in the league.

“The players are prepared, we all want the three points but it will be a difficult game because they are fighting to remain in the league, they have not had good results recently but that does not mean they will be pushovers.

We are fighting for the title which will make the game even tougher but we have to fight to maintain our position, the players are motivated and psyched up to get the three points,” said Isabwa.

Nzoia Sugar effected changes in their technical bench, appointing Salim Babu as the new head coach after Ibrahim Shikanda walked out of the club.

Homeboyz will be hoping for nothing short of a win in the clash with KCB, Nairobi City Stars and Kariobangi Sharks breathing down on their necks.
