Wow, that could be a once-in-a-lifetime moment if both sides end the championship level. The goal difference is irrelevant in Italy
Never have we witnessed that a new champion of those Top 5 European leagues is decided in a single-leg game. At least until now!
History is about to be changed as the Serie A title race could get its climatic showdown between Inter and Napoli.
If the two sides finish the championship both level on points at the top of the table - and they are tied now on 71 points each - Serie A chiefs would have to organise a play-off game to decide the winner.

But why, you might ask? In Italy's top flight, teams are divided by head-to-head record, but both games between the two finished 1-1. Moreover, goal difference won't be used to decide the title.
Therefore, this potential match could be held at a neutral venue, like the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. There would be no extra time in the game, so if both teams were still level after 90 minutes, it would go straight to penalties.
