Olwande missed much of the proceedings last season with injury
Kariobangi Sharks have been dealt a blow on the back of a plethora of fixtures coming up following the injury of skipper Samuel Olwande.
The club confirmed that the defender is set to be out for up to three weeks with a metacarpal fracture on his left hand.

Following the development, the former Mathare United player is set to miss up to four games that Sharks are scheduled to play between now and his date of return, with a possibility of missing more matches depending on his fitness levels at the time of his return.
He will be out of contention for the home match against Talanta to end the year next week, then the year opener against Ulinzi Stars at Nakuru, before watching again from the sidelines as his team takes on Kakamega Homeboyz and AFC Leopards at home.
If he will not be back instantly, he will miss the trip to Wundayi to face off with Sofapaka later in January.

Olwande missed most of the proceedings last season as he was out since undergoing surgery in April to repair a cartilage tear that saw him miss action for four months only to resume training when the season was wrapping up in August.
The defender is not new to lengthy spells out as he underwent an operation in October 2018 while at Mathare United following a third-degree meniscus tear on his right knee which saw him stay out of action for five months.
