Musamali joined Ingwe on a four year contract just after completing his high school studies
AFC Leopards youngster Daniel Musamali, who is currently on loan at Nzoia Sugar, has earned quite a number of raving reviews for his performances this season at the sugar millers.
Having just finished his high school exams at St. Anthony Boys Kitale, Leopards snapped up the player’s services on a four year contract with the team.

But after only playing one game for Ingwe during pre-season, the rising star has now revealed what motivated him into opting for a loan move instead of fighting for a place in the Ingwe squad before the 2020/2021 Football Kenya Federation Premier League campaign kicked off.
“Of course when you are just leaving high school many people want to see what you can offer to the club. The coaches told me that the pressure would be too much on me if they rushed to play me. It is a big team with very experienced players, so when the management approached me with a loan deal I could see the sense in it. That is why I agreed,” he revealed.
Determined to go back to his parent club, the player, who won the national schools championship in high school, has gone ahead to reveal that his dream of featuring for Leopards is not done yet, but he still needs to put his house in order before he realizes those ambitions.
“I want to play for Leopards one day but only after familiarizing myself with the top flight, which I am doing now,” he said.
The millers are currently in twelfth position on the log on nineteen points, eight clear of the relegation places.
