After holding the unpopular tag of being the only team without a win heading to the weekend fixtures, striker Brian Yakhama was the savior for Ingwe as he converted a 34th-minute penalty to see out the win, and one that took them out of the league’s relegation zone for the first time this season.
With a total of seven points this season, AFC Leopards are now 15th on the FKF Premier League log with seven points, while Nzoia Sugar - who are now on six consecutive games without a win - are 17th with five points.
Ulinzi Stars vs Shabana
At the Ulinzi Complex, Ulinzi Stars recorded their third win this season as they thrashed Shabana FC 4-0 thanks to a second-half brace from danger man Enosh Ochieng.
The striker, who secured his first goal of the season in Ulinzi’s win over Kariobangi Sharks on 7 October, was on the mark in the 51st and 64th minute, feeding off crosses from Boniface Muchiri and Shannel Makwata respectively.
The military men had broken into the lead after 30 minutes through Bonventure Muchika, before Mark Bikokwa doubled the lead with five minutes to the break.

The defeat was Shabana’s heaviest loss this season, and adds up to their last minute woes that have troubled their return back to the top-flight.
Tore Bobe are 16th on the log with seven points, with Ulinzi Stars going up to 10th with 10 points from their opening eight games.
Kariobangi Sharks vs Kakamega Homeboyz
The Sunday afternoon match at the Kasarani Annex looked to be heading to a barren draw deep into second half added time before an unmarked Julius Masaba connected to a Geoffrey Onyango cross to give Kariobangi Sharks a well needed win over Kakamega Homeboyz.

The 1-0 win earned Sharks a reprieve this season, as it erased their three match winless run - two losses to Posta Rangers and Ulinzi Stars and a 1-1 draw with Muhoroni Youth - and saw them rise to fifth on the FKF Premier League log with 12 points.
Homeboyz, on the other hand, succumbed to their third defeat of the season and are ninth with 11 points.
Nairobi City Stars vs KCB
In the day’s early kickoff match at the Kasarani Annex, Bernard Mwalala’s KCB turned on the afterburners as they humiliated Nairobi City Stars 4-1 to move within four points of FKF Premier League leaders Posta Rangers.
The win, one that saw the bankers extend their unbeaten run to six games, started off with a headed goal by Nicholas Kipkirui after 10 minutes, before Haniff Wesonga doubled his team’s lead with another headed goal from an Erickson Mulu cross.

Kelvin Etemesi pulled one back for City Stars at the half-hour mark but the job wasn’t done for KCB, as Francis Kahiro and Danson Chetambe - who was later sent off for a second yellow - scored in the second half to wrap up the convincing win; their fourth this season.
City Stars, with only two wins in eight games this season, are 13th on the log with nine points.
