Injured Esilaba slices gym fees by half for his counterparts in a rare charitable move.
Local players can afford something to smile about during the time sporting activities are suspended as AFC Leopards central defender Tedian Esilaba has offered to save them the hustle of forking out hefty gym fee by halving the charges.
Esilaba who owns Tribe Fit Gym located in Kasarani will now charge his counterparts a paltry Ksh 100 per session as opposed to the initial Ksh 200 levied before the presidential decree.

The former Nairobi City Stars defender says he elected to slice the fee by virtue of the tough economic times sportsmen have been facing from the time the first case of coronavirus was reported in the country.
“It is yet another tough time for sportsmen as our jobs have been put on hold. I have decided to give the players a good discount just to ensure they keep fit during the time they will be training on their own. Players will now pay one hundred shillings unlike before where I used to charge them two hundred,” he revealed.
Esilaba who went under the knife last week after damaging his Anterior Cruciate Ligaments(ACL) urged players to remain disciplined in following the training regimes dished by their respective clubs.
The former Administration Police player stressed on the significance of players leading a healthy lifestyle and balancing gym work and road running.
“Players have to watch their diets and lifestyles as we wait for the resumption of football. They have to strictly do their gym, stretching and road work to maintain the fitness levels they had attained when the league was running,” he added.
