Reports claim that Bayern contracted Leipzig coach Julian Nagelsmann

Bayern Munich is out of the Champions League and murky times are ahead of the current European champion. In the upcoming five weeks until the end of the season, the Bavarian will look to secure the title (they are five points ahead of Leipzig), and then they have to seriously look at their squad and most important, their coach. A season long freud between coach Hansi Flick and sporting director Hasan „Braco“ Salihamidzic will soon end, and many believe that the winner will be Braco.

Former National team assistant is contemplating coming back to The Mannschaft, this time as a coach, and the offer is on the table. He obviously doesn’t think that he will win the power battle with Braco.

"I must talk those things through with my family. The family has always supported me in the past and will do so in the future. It's a good feeling. And it would not matter to them if I were at the German Football Association and had a different rhythm" Flick said on Sky after the PSG match.

If this is the case, the new coach must be a priority for the Bavarians. It has been rumored before that Braco called Leipzig coach Julian Nagelsmann when the conflict first started, but now the former Bayern star and World Cup winner Lothar Herbert Matthaus claims that Nagelsmann was contacted recently, which the young German denied, but hasn’t closed the door for the future.

"There have been no talks and we are currently in no talks. The country needs new sources. I don't know where Matthaus got his info from. It's not like his agents are acting autocratically. They do things I ask them to. And thus, there were no talks. There are always developments in football you can't foresee" Nagelsmann said at the press conference.

Just in case, RB Leipzig also leaked the following information: if any coach would want to buy out Nagelsmann’s contract, it would cost him 20 million euros! Some pretty good young players can be bought for that kind of money, yet alone one coach. So far, the biggest compensation for a coach in the history of Bundesliga has been Adolf "Adi" Hutter’s transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt to Borussia Monchengladbach, just days ago for 7.5 million euros. Will a new record follow soon?
