I only want to win the league title – Ochan

The Ugandan custodian currently has the second most clean sheets in the league but is solely focused on only achieving one goal
AFC Leopards goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan has stated his ultimate desire of helping Ingwe end their 23-year wait to finally get their name on the honorary list of Premier League winners.
Ochan has been one of the brightest shining lights for Ingwe this season. With the 1-0 win over relegation-threatened Mathare United, the custodian managed to move within a clean sheet from Ulinzi Stars goalkeeper James Saruni who has gone without conceding in 10 games.
The Ugandan also boasts of being the least conceding goalkeeper in the league as he has only let nine goals slip past his watch in the seventeen games Ingwe has played this season. The shot-stopper is however not engrossed with personal feats, stating that his ultimate desire is being handed the league winners’ medal come the end of the season.
“Getting to the top (joint) means a lot for us. It has been a while since AFC got in this position at this time of the season but it calls for more pressure and more concentration from us. I would really love to win the league as it has been a while since the club last did it. That is my target and I would really love to achieve it,” the goalkeeper told Mozzart Sport.

Since Belgian head coach Patrick Aussems took over in February, Ingwe have been nothing short of sublime, losing only one match in eight games overseen by the former Simba head coach.
Significantly, the team has also been very solid, conceding only three goals in the matches played, performances that now see the club sitting joint top of the league standings and with a real chance of grabbing a continental ticket to the CAF Champions League, something Ochan noted stemmed from the coach.
“The only difference right now is that we are being more composed game by game. The coach wants us tight at the back. Our mentality is also growing. He tells us with one goal we can win. So we know right now if we have something and we protect it, we will get something out of the game,” the goalkeeper added.
