However, if we are to believe what he said, it doesn't bother him
Liam Rosenior has won seven out of his first nine games at Chelsea's bench, and even that didn't spare him from being mocked on social media - proof that no matter how successful one is, they can never be safe.
Truth be told, those jokes aren't really mean, as the strategist has been frequently compared to certain characters from several TV shows. Nothing too serious, at first glance, and Rosenior agreed with it, claiming that it didn't bother him.
"I'm not afraid to be myself. If I wear glasses, if I sound a little bit over the top when I speak, or articulate myself in a certain way, or I don't look like a manager, it doesn't bother me at all," the Blues' boss said in the pre-game press conference (via BBC) ahead of his team's Premier League clash against Leeds United tonight (22.30) at Stamford Bridge.
Nevertheless, he went on to admit that, even though he was indifferent to the memes, his family wasn't.

"It affects them. It affects my parents, it affects my family. But I knew walking into this job it was going to happen. It’s normal. So for me, when you’re prepared for it, it makes you smile"

"The reason I know is because I've got teenage children. They're on social media. It affects them, it affects my parents and my family. But I knew walking in to this job it was going to happen. It's normal," the 41-year-old revealed.
Still, the internet is probably somewhat obsessed with Rosenior just because he is a new face in the football world. Once the hype around him dies down, his life will get back to normal. And if he continues to perform well with Chelsea, that process may even accelerate a bit.
