Top flight duo closing on Oduor's signature
Hardly a month after writing his final Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KSCE), Green Commandos holding midfielder Mark Oduor is spoilt for choice as two top flight clubs are chasing his signature.
Oduor a younger brother to former national U20 and Kariobangi Sharks winger Patrick Otieno disclosed that Kakamega Homeboyz and Nzoia Sugar are muscling to acquire him.
The stocky player who can also be deployed as a right back said the two clubs had approached him even before he finished his exams but apparently, he is not in a hurry to make a choice.

"Sometimes back, we played a friendly match against Homeboyz and after the match, coach Nicholas Muyoti told me he was impressed with my game. He has since kept close tabs and wants me to be part of his team. Nzoia who were monitoring me in our division one matches are also keen to have me, " the youngster revealed exclusively to Mozzart Sport.
Oduor who admitted of drawing inspiration from his elder brother who began playing in the top flight while a form three student at Bukembe Boys High School said he was keen to follow his footsteps.
Otieno joined Sharks in June 2019 from Nzoia and was part of the U20 squad which scooped bronze in the 2019 edition of the CECAFA championship held in Uganda.
"He encourages and inspires me and hopefully my career will be like hes. He has played in the junior national teams and he is also a senior player at Sharks. I believe he would have made to the senior national team were it not for the knee injury," he said.
