The defender has been with Homeboyz for the last two seasons.
Kakamega Homeboyz defender Sylvester Owino has hinted that he will not be signing a new deal with the Kakamega based side with his contract expiring in November.
The lanky defender is one of the fast-rising defenders in the country and last year he went to Portugal for trials with an unnamed side before returning to the country and continued to turn for Homeboyz.
A host of local side have pursuing his signature but he remains in the books of Homeboyz. His contract ends in three months’ time and he has confirmed that he does not plan to ink a new deal with the club.
In an interview with Mozzart Sport, the central defender admitted that it will be difficult for him to continue with the Kakamega based side and is in talks with his advisors before making a decision on his future.
“My contract expires in November and I do not think that I will be signing a new deal with Homeboyz. My future is not clear yet because I am still in consultation with my advisors and so at the moment I do not really have an answer on where I will be playing next,” he added.
Kenya Police FC were after his signature but the player says he has not held any serious talks with the big-spenders.
