According to The Telegraph, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus will present the new model of the breakaway competition next week

Although the European Super League idea suffered a heavy blow in April 2021, only a few days after the story of the breakaway competition emerged in public - it's far from over.
Moreover, it seems more lively than ever. According to The Telegraph, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus (or their presidents, to be precise) have agreed on a new deal that will be made public next week.
Apparently, unlike the former suggested pattern, the new league will abandon permanent membership and allow new clubs to qualify for the competition.

None of the culprits - Joan Laporta, Florentino Perez and Andrea Agnelli -didn't mention a thing about the European Super League in the last couple of weeks. However, they've obviously worked in silence to go on with a project that faced severe criticism once it was publicly announced in the previous year.
Interestingly enough, Barcelona are currently playing in the Europa League after being eliminated from the Champions League. Juventus and Real are still in Europe's most formidable competition, but, for example, Bianconeri are fourth in never weaker Serie A.
