The big shock came with reports that Galatasaray submitted a 70 million offer, payable in five installments. However, renowned transfer insider Gianluca Di Marzio revealed that Napoli rejected the proposal outright. Club president Aurelio De Laurentiis reportedly laid out firm demands for any potential buyers: the full 75 million release clause, paid in a maximum of two installments, backed by bank guarantees to ensure Napoli receives the full amount.

But then, a twist — new reports from Italy indicate that Al Hilal has stepped up with a formal offer matching Napoli’s exact requirements: a guaranteed 75 million, to be paid in two equal installments of 37.5 million.

Now all eyes turn to Osimhen. The striker has made it clear that he prefers Galatasaray over Al Hilal, and Napoli is well aware of his stance.

In response, Galatasaray isn’t backing down. The Turkish club has submitted an updated offer worth 75 million, this time structured over a longer period. Napoli would receive 40 million upfront, 17.5 million in May 2026, and another 17.5 million in May 2027.

With both clubs now willing to meet Napoli’s asking price, albeit under different terms, the ball is in De Laurentiis’s court and Osimhen’s preferences will also weigh heavily.
