Tuchel confirmed his decision ahead of the opener against Werder Bremen
Harry Kane's presence has already had a noticeable and "instant impact" on the atmosphere within Bayern Munich's locker room, according to head coach Thomas Tuchel. He is anticipated to be included in the starting lineup for the German champions' upcoming match against Werder Bremen tonight.
Following his 19-year tenure at Tottenham, Kane mentioned on Sunday that he might require an adjustment period to settle into his new club. His new boss affirmed his decision about the 'fantastic' Kane.
"My first impressions of Harry are fantastic. He is a top professional, the quality is outstanding, and he's a fantastic human being; he is very open, he's first on the training pitch, he is open in the dressing room. I think he has an immediate effect in the dressing room with his personality, his approach to football, his love for the game. You feel it every day. You feel it in every little exercise."
Tuchel explained that the Englishman's behaviour in the wake of the painful German Super Cup loss was just another indication of how committed and professional he is.
"The way he acts after such a game, after a loss, he is the first on the training pitch, he works with the reserve players, he is the one walking ahead who is inspiring others. That is what makes that transfer fee worthwhile, not only his goalscoring record but all the other things as well. That is what really makes him a big star and all the other personalities in sport as well, so that is the Harry Kane effect and why he raises our chances of winning massively."
"If nothing extraordinary happens he will start the game"

Tuchel's squad is set to receive a positive reinforcement with the imminent comeback of goalkeeper Manuel Neuer. Thomas Muller and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting will be included in Friday's lineup, although the availability of Bouna Sarr, Noussair Mazraoui, and Serge Gnabry is not known yet.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the England captain said Bayern is already starting to feel like his home.
"It's been crazy. The first few days were hectic. There was a lot going on and a lot to do. Obviously there was also the game on Saturday as well. The last couple of days have been a nice and have allowed me to settle in. I got some good training sessions in with the team, and I am starting to get to know the team a little better. It's been an amazing experience, everything about it. Now I am focusing on the game on Friday and getting down to work."
