Ouma, who is on loan at the Polish giants from Czech outfit Slavia Prague, was introduced at the start of the second half, replacing Alan Kozubal.
Wearing jersey number 6, the 21-year-old slotted seamlessly into midfield, showing composure, sharp passing, and tactical discipline in a match that was effectively decided by halftime.
The contest burst into life early when Antonio Milić headed home from a corner in the fourth minute to give Lech a dream start.
Breiðablik briefly rallied, leveling the score through Höskuldur Gunnlaugsson’s penalty in the 29th minute after a foul in the box.
However, the visitors' momentum was short-lived.
A straight red card to Viktor Örn Margeirsson in the 32nd minute, following a reckless challenge reviewed by VAR, reduced the Icelanders to ten men and shifted the match decisively in Lech’s favor.

Swedish striker Mikael Ishak converted the first of his three penalties in the 37th minute to restore Lech's lead, before João Pereira extended the advantage to 3–1 in the 42nd minute with a crisp finish.
Ishak struck again from the spot deep into first-half stoppage time (45’+3), and Leo Bengtsson added a fifth just moments later (45’+6), putting the match out of reach before the break.
Ouma came on for the second half as Lech looked to consolidate their dominance.
The former Nairobi City Stars midfielder anchored the midfield with assurance, helping the hosts control possession and dictate the tempo.
Filip Jagiełło made it 6–1 in the 77th minute, finishing off a fluid team move, before Ishak completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot in the 85th minute.
After the final whistle, Ouma expressed his delight at the debut and warm reception from his new teammates, saying, “It’s a good win. I’m happy to be part of the team. Thank you.”
With a six-goal cushion, Lech Poznań head into next week’s return leg in Iceland with one foot firmly in the third qualifying round.
