The Brazilian had to miss training and will have to undergo a scan on Friday

Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus did not participate in training on Thursday, but he remains optimistic that his hamstring injury is not severe. The results of a scan of his hamstring are expected on Friday. While he is doubtful for Arsenal's upcoming match against Sheffield United due to the congested schedule, it is not anticipated that he will be out for too long.

Some of the Gunners' squad trained in gym work during Thursday's session, indicating that not all players were on the field. Jesus felt discomfort in his hamstring during the victory over Sevilla and had to be substituted with nine minutes remaining in the match.

The Brazilian has undergone a scan for a hamstring injury he sustained during the Champions League match at Estadio Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan. Jesus played a pivotal role in Arsenal's victory, providing an assist and scoring a goal, but he had to come off early.

The latest injury comes as another setback for the former Manchester City player, who has already faced multiple injuries, including two knee operations, since joining Arsenal in 2022. Additionally, Arsenal lost Thomas Partey to a new muscular problem, and there is no timeline for his return, while right-back Jurrien Timber is working on his recovery from an ACL injury.
