Earlier reports had revealed that the Brazilian had already booked a flight out of the country due to the prevailing circumstances
Brazilian striker Wilson Silva Fonseca has fled from troubled Kenyan champions Gor Mahia following a troublesome spell that has seen other foreign players jumping K'Ogalo's sinking ship.
The Brazilian is at place called Monnerat, Rio de Janeiro. He posted a selfie on his Instagram account and tagged his location which showed he was in Brazil.
MozzartSport exclusively revealed last week that Silva had booked a flight out the the country. It is however, uncertain if the player who has a lot of belief in Coach Vaz Pinto will return to Gor Mahia. Pinto recruited Silva in spite of skepticism from club insiders and the striker was nearing his best when the league was cut short.
Gor foward Wilson SilvaA source within the club had earlier revealed that Silva was promised a signing fee of Ksh. 1.5 million but has only received twenty thousand.
“Silva will be going back to Brazil this weekend because the situation at the club is unbearable. It would be very difficult to raise a decent team now if sports resumed. Players have families but the officials have different priorities, so everyone is looking for a way out,” the source said previously.
Prevailing circumstances seem to have forced the Brazilian out of the club after reports stated that the players have not yet received their salaries.

With the 2020/2021 Football Kenya Federation Premier League set to tentatively resume on 12th May after President Uhuru Kenyatta lifted the restrictions imposed in the country, it remains unclear if Silva will jet back to the country in time for the restart of the campaign that was suspended. Silva only joined K'ogalo back in January this year.
It also remains to be seen if other international players in the club including Jules Ulimwengu and Tito Okello will make their way back to the green army. Jules was yet to make a return from international duty since March while Tito Okello moved out of the club house he was staying in with his belongings.
