Stuttering Kenyan champions add Samba touch with new acquisition from Fortaleza Sporting Club, a Serie A side in the football mad South American state.
Gor Mahia have become the first club in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League to officially unveil a signing after managing a huge coup, roping in Brazilian forward Wilson Silva Fonseca.
The 20-year-old joins the green of K’Ogalo from Fortaleza Sporting Club who ply their trade in the Serie A which is the Brazilian top tier league.
Gor Mahia, however, failed to reveal the details of the deal as the length of his contract still remains under the wraps.
According to PlayMaker Stats, Fonseca played 14 games for the Fortaleza U20 side scoring 5 goals.

He, however, failed to score in the seven games that he played for the senior side in 2020 prompting him to look for more game time in Africa.
Fonseca becomes the third Brazilian signing for Gor Mahia in recent years, joining Thiago Lima da Silva and Giovanni Rodriguez in donning the green K’Ogalo jersey.
He will make history if he features for the club as the other two signings left the club without making an appearance for Gor Mahia.
Fonseca will face stiff competition for places at Gor Mahia as the club already has five strikers in the name of Benson Omalla, Jules Ulimwengu, Nicholas Kipkirui, Dickson Raila and Tito Okello.
Aside from playing in the Serie A, he has also featured in Cup of the North-East, São Paulo Youth Football Cup and the Brazilian Aspirants Cup.
