K’Ogalo launched their 2025/26 season jerseys that have since hit the shelves in select outlets countrywide as well as online.
While this remains a good move for the club, both in terms of marketing and revenue generation, the club is alive to the fact that there may be an emergence of fake club jerseys by unscrupulous businessmen.
As part of curbing the illegal vice, the 21-time FKF Premier League champions have explained how buyers can identify both original player versions and replicas of their jerseys.
For the Player Version (PV) jerseys, the badge/crest is made up of silicon, which helps in keeping the jersey light.
In the lower left front side of the jersey, the Roman inscription ‘XXI’ signifies the 21 league titles, which is inscribed in gold.
On top of the back side of the jersey, the club’s nickname - ‘K’Ogalo' has been set on a pitch graphic and is also written in gold.
Additionally, the player version fabric has used advanced ventilation to channel airflow and keep players cool during the match.
As for the Replica, unlike Silicone for the PV, the badge is made up of durable, flexible and abrasion-resistant Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU).
Additionally, the XXI in the replica is written in silver while the ‘K’Ogalo’ at the back is inset in white and with no pitch.
This season’s Gor Mahia jerseys are from French merchandise firm Azzo, whose badge on the jersey is waterproof, heat-resistant and made of silicone materials.
The replica jerseys are currently retailing at Ksh2,000 and are found at EastWest Fashions along Moi Avenue, Nairobi, as well as at all Nairobi Sports House outlets in Nairobi and Mombasa.
In the field of play, K’Ogalo recovered from the season opener loss to Bidco United by registering two wins against Sofapaka and KCB FC, respectively, leading up to the international break.
