K'Ogalo confirmed on their social media platforms that Ben Stanley resumed full training after recovering from an ankle injury that had sidelined him for three matches.
The former Sofapaka midfielder last featured for Gor Mahia during their clash against Shabana FC on Sunday, 11 January, as he started the match but was forced off before halftime due to injury.
He was replaced by new signing Jackson Dwang in a game that ultimately ended in a goalless draw at Gusii Stadium.

Since the departure of influential playmaker Austin Odhiambo to Lebanese side Nejmeh SC, Ben Stanley has been an integral figure in coach Charles Akonnor’s setup, consistently delivering creativity and composure in midfield.
His presence has been sorely missed as K’Ogalo navigated a challenging fixture list, including a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Murang’a Seal, a convincing 3-0 win against Mara Sugar FC, and a 2-1 triumph over Bidco United.
The return of the Harambee Stars midfielder could not be timelier. Gor Mahia currently sit tied at the top of the table alongside arch-rivals AFC Leopards on 36 points, as the league enters the crucial second leg.
The club’s ambitions of claiming a record-extending 22nd league title, following a trophyless 2024/25 season, hinge on maintaining momentum and consistency in the coming fixtures.
