Ochieng picked the injury against Tusker FC two weeks ago.
Gor Mahia midfielder Sydney Ochieng will be out of action for an unspecified period of time due to a knee injury, the clubs have announced.
The defensive midfielder went off injured in the later stages of their league match against Tusker FC two weeks ago at the Thika Sub-County. He subsequently sat out of the return leg clash that was played in Narok last Saturday.
Ochieng, a former Palos FC, Tusker FC and Western Stima player has struggled with different injuries this season and this has resulted in him missing the better part of the 2021/22 campaign and the latest setback is not only a blow to his club but also a personal blow for the club.
