It looks increasingly likely that Sergio Kun Aguero will be playing in Barcelona next season. The Argentina international's contract is up at the end of the season, and he could be keen to put a difficult season behind him with a fresh start elsewhere. Manchester City forward has reportedly been in negotiations with the Catalan club in recent days. According to reports by Argentine TyC Sports, he is believed to have a formal offer from Joan Laporta on the table.

Not only is Aguero a world-class talent who could fill the void left by Luis Suarez, but his arrival might be the key to Lionel Messi staying at the Camp Nou. Messi is the godfather of Aguero's son Benjamin, whose mother is Giannina Maradona, the daughter of the legendary Diego Armando Maradona.
