Under Klopp, he was anything but a flop.
Things have, however, changed for once prolific Dutch midfielder Georginio Gini Wijnaldum, who has been named the 'Ligue 1 signing flop of the season' by Get French Football News.

The Netherlands international made a move to Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer from Liverpool after his contract expired and the two parties could not agree on fresh terms.
Wijnaldum opened his account for PSG with a Champions League brace in a 2-2 draw against RB Leipzig in November, but the general consensus is that he didn't do the business.
He made 22 starts in 38 Ligue 1 and didn't play a full 90 minutes in over two months at the end of the campaign, leading to his omission from Louis van Gaal's Dutch squad.
At Liverpool, Wijnaldum was a hugely important player for five years under Jurgen Klopp, helping the Reds to Champions League and Premier League successes. The 31-year-old is one year into a three-year deal in the French capital.
