The striker, who has been missing in action since 30th May, made his comeback from injury on Wednesday against KCB
Bidco United striker Eric Gichimu was left in inspired mood after he successfully made an injury comeback in his team’s 1-0 loss against KCB on Wednesday afternoon at Thika Stadium.
The striker, who has missed action since 30th May in their stunning 3-1 win over AFC Leopards, went on to quickly shift his ambitions to helping the team perform even better in the second half of the season where he intends to get to double digits in the 2020/2021 Football Kenya Federation Premier League.

After playing seventy minutes against the Bankers owing to match fitness, the striker has shifted his attention to getting full recovery before their game against Posta Rangers where he hopes to end his goal drought since February.
“The game against KCB was not easy but gratefully I managed to get seventy minutes today. I am focused on getting full recovery before our next match against Posta Rangers as I seek to get back to full fitness in order to help the team. I know I have not been able to get on the scoresheet for quite some time but I am currently working on that and I hope I will get rewards in the Posta match,” he told Mozzart Sport.

Gichimu, who has four goals to his name after scoring against Nzoia Sugar, Wazito, Posta Rangers and Mathare United, targets to find the back of the net six more times
“My target for the season still stays at getting to double digits in the current campaign because there are still fourteen matches to go and in football you never know. In a game I can even get two goals to increase my chances of getting to that intended target,” he added.
Bidco United take on Posta Rangers on Sunday at Ruaraka Grounds. The match kicks off at 1500 EAT.
