Only a genuine miracle can prevent the Black Stars from qualifying for their second straight World Cup, while the Copper Bullets and the Mena's direct duel should be the most interesting in today's programme
Today will be a glorious day in Accra! Ghana will face Comoros (22.00) and celebrate their second straight (fifth in total) FIFA World Cup qualification. The Black Stars have yet to officially book their ticket for the USA, Canada, and Mexico, but a proper miracle should happen so they end up empty-handed.
Namely, Ghana top Group I with a three-point edge over the second-placed Madagascar, which had secured at least the playoffs. The only scenario in which Otto Addo's team wouldn't qualify would be their defeat to Comoros and Madagascar's win over Mali, which would annul the Black Stars' eight-goal goal-difference advantage. In all honesty, nearly impossible.
The last round of World Cup qualifiers starts today.

⭐️:Ghana will officially qualify today even if they lose against Comoros because Madagascar will have to score 8+ goals.

The most interesting clash of the day - at least result-wise - should be the clash in Ndola, where Zambia will host Niger within Group E. The Copper Bullets are trailing by three points behind the Mena, but their eventual win would make them leapfrog the visitors and launch them to the playoffs. Any other outcome keeps Niger in second position.
Neither of the two teams has ever participated in the FIFA World Cup, though Zambia's football heritage is much greater, as they were Champions of Africa in 2012.
The Copper Bullets' key powers will be Leicester striker Patson Daka, Lameck Banda of Lecce, and Fashion Sakala, who scored a winner against Tanzania four days ago.
On the other hand, the Niger boss, Moroccan Ezzaiki Badou, will mainly rely on captain Youssef Oumarou, striker Daniel Sossah of the Kazakhstani Aktobe, and centre-back tandem Oumar Sako (Rostov) and Rahim Alhassane (Real Oviedo).
