Swedish striker, 40, will undergo a surgery. Could this be his end?

AC Milan charismatic striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be out for up to eight months after undergoing knee surgery.

The Swedish international, 40, endured a stop-start campaign in a title-winning season with Rosonerri because of injuries.

Ibra, who is out of contract in the summer, had previously expressed a desire to stay with the new Italian champions for at least one more season. But the lengthy spell on the sidelines will now cast doubt over his future and his career altogether.

The former Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain attacker returned to the San Siro in 2020, having won the Scudetto during his first spell at Milan in 2011.
