Chelsea's first-team squad lost to an U21 side 3-0 at the club's training centre in Cobham on Wednesday.

Accodring to very realiable X account TheChelseaSpot, the Blues' manager Enzo Maresca was fuming after the game and decided to punish his players by cancelling a planned day off for the senior players on Thursday.

Apparently, the squad included all the senior players not called up for international duty, like Malo Gusto, Benoit Badiashile, Tosin Adarabioyo, Romeo Lavia, Jadon Sancho and Christopher Nkunku all featured.

On the other hand, Donnell McNeilly scored a brace and Chizzy Ezenwata added one more for the youngsters.

Chelsea's senior squad faces Tottenham in the most entertaining Premier League match in prospect next weekend.
