Les Bleus winger is off to Sweden for the same reason the Manchester City's forward temporarily left his national team a few days ago

Family comes first.

Like Three Lions winger Phil Foden recently, Kingsley Coman was allowed to leave France's training camp at the European Championship to be with his wife for the birth of their baby.

The 28-year-old Bayern Munich player is off to Sweden to be with his Swedish wife for the birth of their fourth child.

According to RMC Sport, he is thought to quickly return to Germany and could still be in contention to face Belgium on Monday in the EURO 2024 Round of 16 clash.

So far, Coman has clocked just 15 minutes, coming on as a second-half substitute for Ousmane Dembele in a 0-0 group-stage draw against The Netherlands.

However, certain doubts remain regarding Coman's fitness. He only just recovered in time for the tournament, and according to L'Equipe, he informed Les Bleus' technical staff that he was not fit enough to start in one of the preparation matches.
