Percy Tau reunites with Pitso Mosimane having worked together at Mamelodi Sundowns

Bafana Bafana forward Percy Tau has completed his move to Egyptian giants Al Ahly from Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion.

The move sees the former Brighton forward link up again with Pitso Mosimane again whom they worked together with at Mamelodi Sundowns since 2013 when Tau joined the team until he left for Europe.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns player joined Brighton in 2018 but issues with his work visa saw him move to Belgium on loan.

He rejoined the Seagulls at the start of the year after the lapse of his loan spell with RSC Anderlecht but featured minimally for Brighton, with his biggest contribution being the 84th minute assist to Danny Welbeck in their 1-all draw with West Ham United in May.

A leaked video earlier today of Al Ahly shooting Tau's presentation video got rid of any doubts that the forward was definitely headed to Egypt.

Al Ahly have also completed the signing of Mozambique international and former Simba SC player Luís Miquissone, in another Mosimane reunion.

Just like Percy Tau, Miquissone played under Mosimane at Mamelodi in different stints and is a well-known player to the coach.

Miquissone has been on Al Ahly radar for a while, most probably owing to his stellar performance in the CAF Champions League last season with Simba SC where he scored the winner against Al Ahly in their group stage match.
