Pathetic football, another poor performance, but the reigning champions manage to beat Torino 1-0

AC Milan's horrible five-game-long Serie A winless streak has finally reached its end as Rossoneri grabbed a 1-0 home win against Torino on Friday night.

For the vast part of the match, it seemed three defeats in a row would be followed by a goalless draw, but Milan's 'French connection' Theo Hernandez-Olivier Giroud did some magic to save their club's dignity.

That Giroud's classy header in the second half, following Hernadez's perfect cross from the left, was the only good thing the hosts did in the opening 62 minutes.

Torino's keeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic, the brother of Lazio's peculiar offensive midfielder Sergej, stood no chance against the former Arsenal striker, who managed to recreate a bit of his old magic and push his side to a desperately-needed victory.

Theo Hernandez even had a clear-cut chance to double the lead and wrap up the game some ten minutes later, but he squandered it from close range.

Rossoneri are currently third, 15 points adrift of league leaders Napoli.
