Gor Mahia's teenage sensation Frank Odhiambo has lauded Harun Shakava for guiding him well as he eases into Gor Mahia's first team, terming their partnership at the heart of the defense perfect.
Odhiambo made his debut for the league defending champions in the 1-0 win against Nairobi City Stars during the league's restart and has since appeared in every other game for Gor Mahia.

In those games, they have managed to keep 6 clean sheets, conceding only against Sofapaka in the FKFPL and Mara Sugar in the FKF Cup, a feat that has elated the young defender who happens to be the only central defender to have played every game for K'Ogalo since the restart.
"My partnership with Shakava (Harun) has been good, he has guided me well and helped me ease into the team. Our partnership has been perfect. Since we started playing together in defense we have managed a total of six clean sheets, which is a plus for a defender," Odhiambo said.
About the assist against Kariobangi Sharks, Odhiambo said that he was not upfront by mistake, and neither was he in unfamiliar territory, adding that he loves dribbling.
He also hinted at a free role in the three-man defense, saying that he is more comfortable with the ball on his feet.
"The game was good. Being upfront is not new to me, I like dribbling the ball and playing it from the back, the coach has given me something similar to a free role at the back. Finding myself upfront and topping it with an assist was good for me," the teenager said.
The former Bongonaya FC defender is upbeat ahead of the semifinal clash against Bidco United on Sunday, saying that they are going for the win so that they proceed to the final and win the cup that has been elusive to them for eight years.
"We take Bidco on Sunday and just like against Sharks, we are going for the win because we want to go to the finals and lift this cup," Odhiambo said.
