Former star of both Milan clubs slams Rosonneri: Inter would beat them even with the kids

Antonio Cassano is so convinced in Nerazzurri's triumph after 2-0 in the first leg that he even mocks their city rivals

Albeit AS Roma legend, Antonio Cassano was a genuine journeyman back in the day and spent a season in each of Milan's giants, AC Milan and Internazionale.

Therefore, he's insightful when it comes to comparing the two sides even in the present moment, especially since they face each other in the Champions League semi-final. Tonight is the return leg, and Milan are trailing 2-0 after the home game, which leaves them in a difficult position. In Cassano's personal opinion, not just difficult but impossible to bounce back.

Speaking on BoboTV via FcInterNews, Cassano suggested that Milan have almost no chance of beating Inter and progressing to the Champions League final.

"Inter have to play as seven, with Primavera kids (youth team), to be eliminated. And there is the risk that even then, Milan won't be able to beat them. With Rafael Leao or without, it changes little, Milan are inferior to Inter. The Portuguese is not Kaka or Ronaldinho, I don't see him at that level.

"For me, a catastrophe has to happen for Inter to go out. After the first leg, the performance of the last month and the two-goal lead, in my opinion, there is no chance for the Rossoneri. Maybe I'll make the wrong prediction for the umpteenth time…"
