Milovan Rajevac led them to the 2010 FIFA World Cup 1/4 finals in his first stint, but the second one, last year, ended badly

Never to return again. Sometimes, maybe, that's the best thing to do after you achieve something tremendous with someone and then leave with all the compliments you can get.

If you return and fail, it will haunt you for years and years, with that unbearable question hanging above your head - how did it end so bad this time?

Former Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac is probably thinking just the same. After taking the Black Stars straight to the World Cup quarter-finals back in 2010, the Serbian-born manager took charge of the African giants once again before the AFCON 2021. However, this time it was anything but satosfying and successful, as the Black Stars eneded their journey in the group stage, stuck to the very bottom of the log.

And that's why Rajevac believes in that old thrid-time-charm saying...

"I have unfinished business with the Black Stars. No one knows what the future holds. Ghana is my second home, so if the opportunity arises to come again, I will seriously consider it," says the 68-year-old Serbian boss, who currently holds the position of technical director of Muangtong United from Thailand.

Rajevac believes that his second term would have been successful if only FS Ghana had given him more time.

"Last time, I didn't have enough time to implement everything I wanted. In order to achieve big goals, time is of the essence," assures Rajevac.

His successor Otto Addo, 47, will lead Ghana at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The Black Stars are in Group H with Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.
