The Belgian tactician confirmed his departure from Vipers through a post on his official Facebook page before expressing his delight at taking over the reins at the Botswana outfit.
Minnaert said he was honoured to join one of Botswana's most successful clubs and pledged to work closely with the players, technical bench and supporters to build a competitive side capable of challenging for major honours.
"It is an honour to join Jwaneng Galaxy FC. I come with humility, ambition and respect for what this club has already achieved.
Together with the players, staff and supporters, we will work every day to build a team that represents the values of Galaxy with courage, discipline and an attractive style of football. Now the work begins. Thanks to Vincent Galiwango for the good job done," he posted.

Minnaert leaves Vipers on the back of an impressive spell in Uganda, where he guided the Venoms to a successful Uganda Premier League title defence without suffering a single defeat, further enhancing his reputation as one of the continent's most experienced coaches.
He now takes charge of a Jwaneng Galaxy side determined to reclaim the Botswana Premier League crown after narrowly missing out last season. The four-time league champions finished second behind eventual winners Gaborone United and will be keen to return to the summit under the Belgian's leadership.
His move also sets up an intriguing reunion with former Gor Mahia and Kenya Police midfielder Kenneth Muguna, who features for Sua Flamingoes FC, the side that finished third in the league standings last season.
The appointment marks another chapter in Minnaert's extensive coaching journey across Africa. Jwaneng Galaxy becomes the 11th club in his managerial career, which has included spells with Fassell FC in Liberia, Al-Ittihad Tripoli in Libya, Rayon Sports, Mukura Victory Sports and Gorilla FC in Rwanda, Djoliba AC in Mali, AS Kaloum Star in Guinea, Black Leopards in South Africa, AFC Leopards in Kenya and, most recently, Vipers SC in Uganda.
