Forest and United, one out of two: Elanga done, Henderson loading

After long and difficult negotiations, Nottingham Forest agreed on the amount of compensation for Swedish international Anthony Elanga (21) from Manchester United.

The club from Old Trafford initially aimed to loan him, but in the end it was judged that the offer from the Foresters was satisfactory, so an agreement was made on a permanent transfer. Elanga is thus leaving Carrington after 11 years. According to Sky Sport, the compensation amounts to around 17,300,000 euros.

Anthony Elanga is currently in the United States with Erik Ten Hag's team. The young Swede will return to the United Kingdom in the coming days to undergo medicals and sign a contract with a new club.

A reminder - he is not the only player from United that Forest want. The Tricky Trees want to bring goalkeeper Dean Henderson (26) back to their ranks. Last season he was part of the Nottingham team's campaign. Now the Robin Hood club would like to buy him entirely and they are talking about a figure of twenty million euros.

Elanga's arrival represents Nottingham Forest's first serious signing of the summer.

Since entering the Premier League in 2022, the two-time European champion have spent around 130,000,000 euros.
