Manchester City youngster misses England's open training session ahead of Euro 2020 final as a precaution following 'minor knock'

Phil Foden has been left out of England's open training session on Saturday, just one day ahead of the most important game of the year, the Euro 2020 final (Sunday, at Wembley, 22.00).

The Manchester City prodigy has sat out the session as the Three Lions' official Twitter account said that he has suffered a 'minor knock' and has been left out as a precaution.

According to Daily Mail, All other 25 members of Gareth Southgate's squad are taking part in the session, as they prepare for the country's first major final in 55 years.

The 21-year-old made a positive impact off the bench during Wednesday's 2-1 semi-final victory against Denmark.

Foden came on as an extra-time substitute as Harry Kane's goal sent them to the final of the European Championship for the first time in the nation's history.

He had started the opening two games of the tournament against Croatia and Scotland, though did not feature in their next three games against the Czech Republic, Germany and Ukraine.
