Posta Rangers were stopped on their tracks at Kakamega Homeboyz as the two sides settled for a 1-1 draw but they remain at the helm

Murang'a Seal FC have now won three of their last five games in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) while drawing the remainder.

During the midweek games on Wednesday 1 November, Seal beat Nairobi City Stars 2-1 to record their fifth win of the season.

In total, the league's new entrants have picked an impressive five wins, two draws and an equal number of losses.

They sit well secured in third place on the log standings on 17 points - three off runaway leaders Posta Rangers.

On the contrary, Moneybags Police FC have now gone three games without a win. The Law Enforcers suffered a painful 3-2 loss at Bandari FC to compound their misery.

After a poor start to the season, Police quickly moved to change their technical bench - roping in former Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards Croatian coach Zdravko Logarusic, yet, results are still not streaming in as was expected.

For a team that was to challenge for the title this season, Police are finding themselves 9th on the standings after nine games with only ten points - ten off leaders Posta Rangers.

Shabana FC were left with a bitter pill to swallow after Gor Mahia edged them 1-0 in the dying minutes of their game at Kasarani Stadium.

Tore Bore were emerging from a devastating 4-0 drubbing by Ulinzi Stars and hoped to make amends.

They held on tight at the back, taming K'Ogalo's incessant attacks, until defender Rooney Onyango broke their stubbornness deep into the second half.

Runaway log leaders Posta Rangers were stopped on their tracks at Kakamega Homeboyz as the two sides settled for a 1-1 draw.

The Mailmen remain perched at the helm, but defending champions Gor Mahia are breathing heavily on their shoulders with just a point separating them now.

Hooliganism

The vice reared its ugly head during the game between Shabana FC and Gor Mahia which was played at Kasarani.

It's been calm since the season started, and we hope those responsible will be held to account. Measures to ensure that nothing of the sought happens again should be put in place.

Bukhungu pitch

If there's one stadium that has undergone renovation for forever, then Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega takes the mantle.

Yet, the quality of work done so far was proved wanting during the game between Kakamega Homeboyz and Posta Rangers as the pitch became unplayable after a heavy downpour.
