Gor Mahia was the biggest winner in round three of the FKFPL as Shabana, AFC Leopards, Kenya Police and Ulinzi Stars struggles persisted
Eight teams; Police FC, Shabana FC, Muhoroni Youth, AFC Leopards, Bidco United, Nairobi City Stars, Sofapaka and Ulinzi Stars, remain winless three games into the new season.
Only Leopards, the 12-time champions, are yet to score a goal so far. Six out of the nine matches that were on offer produced wins, while three fixtures ended all square with one being a barren stalemate.
Gor Mahia 4-1 win over Nairobi City Stars was the week's biggest scoreline followed by Posta Rangers' 3-1 victory over Sofapaka.
Kakamega Homeboyz and Kariobangi Sharks picked identical 2-1 wins over Tusker and KCB FC respectively.
Despite the league signing a broadcast deal with Tanzanian pay television giants Azam TV, no matches were beamed live just yet as the company is reportedly still setting up shop in the country.
K'Ogalo fires warning shots
Gor Mahia's 4-1 win over Nairobi City Stars, the largest scoreline of the weekend, was a clear warning statement that the defending champions mean business and will not give up their crown on a silver platter.
K'Ogalo was in a ruthless mood - scoring through the club's top scorer last season Benson Omala, who netted a brace, Rooney Onyango and Austin Odhiambo. City's goal was scored by Dennis Oalo.
The record 20-time champions began their season campaign with a barren draw against Sofapaka before picking their first win with a 1-0 victory over Ulinzi Stars.
Having been cleared by FIFA to sign new players for the first time in three seasons, Gor Mahia made sure they got the best talent in all departments.
Some of their notable signings include Rooney Onyango, a marauding right back who has a knack for scoring goals, Rwandan left-back Patrick Sibomana, who has so far assisted two goals and Rogers Mugisha from Uganda.
Impatient AFC Leopards fans call for Tom Juma's head
Winless and without a goal in three games played so far, AFC Leopards fans are getting impatient and are already calling for the sacking of head coach Tom Juma.
The barren draw against Muhoroni Youth FC on Saturday was the breaking point for the glory starved fans who chanted that Juma must go.

Juma took over the reins ahead of the new season after replacing Belgian Patrick Aussems whom he deputized previously.
In the three games he has been in charge, Ingwe has picked two draws and a loss.
Leopards have not won the league since 1998 and are always under immense pressure to break the jinx.
Shabana fans relentless
The buzz around Shabana FC is not dying soon and for the second time their traveling fans thronged Raila Odinga Stadium, Homabay to cheer their team against visiting Police FC.
Were it not for a very late Police equalizer in the 93rd minute Shabana would have recorded a massive first win of the season.
The team roped in experienced striker Enock Agwanda from Kakamega Homeboyz and former Leopards skipper Eugene Mukangula towards the end of the transfer window.
Kasarani changing room broken into again
For the second time, suspected thieves broke into a changing room at Kasarani Stadium - stealing players' valuables.
The incident occurred during the second half of the Gor Mahia game against City Stars.

In the previous occurrence last year, it was City players who lost valuables, while Gor Mahia was the affected team this time.
That the suspected thieves made their way into the changing room is a huge concern and serious security breach, and the fact that it's happening for the second time is a big shame.
