Gor Mahia vs Kakamega Homeboyz- Kasarani Stadium, 4.00 PM

All eyes will be on Kasarani as two wounded giants collide in what promises to be the standout fixture of the day. Both Gor Mahia and Kakamega Homeboyz are desperate for redemption following difficult recent runs.

Gor Mahia are winless in their last three matches, suffering two defeats and a draw, while Homeboyz arrive on the back of consecutive stalemates and are equally hungry for maximum points.

History suggests a tight affair, with the last ten meetings producing four draws and three wins apiece, underlining just how evenly matched the sides are.

Pressure is mounting on Gor Mahia head coach Charles Akonnor, with victory over the 2023 Mozzart Bet Cup winners potentially easing the heat. Gor sit fifth on the table with 20 points, level with Homeboyz, who trail just behind on goal difference.

Shabana FC vs Mara Sugar- Gusii Stadium, 3.00 PM

The Gusii Stadium will host a fiery Nyanza derby as Shabana FC welcome Mara Sugar FC in a clash loaded with pride and vital league points.

Both sides head into the match in good form. Shabana are unbeaten in their last six games, registering three wins and three draws, while the Sugar Millers have won their last two matches and will be confident of making it three in a row in Kisii.

Shabana are seventh on the standings with 19 points, while Mara Sugar are close behind with 17 points. Last season, the Millers completed a league double over the Glamour Boys, adding extra spice to the contest.

Tusker FC vs Nairobi United- St Sebastian Park, 2.00 PM

In Murang’a, in form Tusker FC will be chasing a fourth consecutive win when they welcome a stuttering Nairobi United side desperate to halt their slide.

Nairobi United have failed to win their last three matches, drawing one and losing two. However, they will draw inspiration from last season’s Mozzart Bet Cup, where they stunned the Brewers on penalties in the Round of 32 on their way to lifting the trophy. This will be the first-ever league meeting between the two clubs.

Tusker are third on the table with 21 points, level with leaders KCB FC but possess an inferior goal difference, while Nairobi United sit 13th with 13 points, although they have four games in hand.

Mathare United vs Sofapaka FC- Kasarani Annex, 3.00 PM

At the Kasarani Annex, Mathare United will host struggling Sofapaka FC in a clash where both sides will be desperate for maximum points.

Sofapaka’s troubles have deepened, forcing changes in the goalkeeping department. Goalkeepers trainer Wilson Obungu and goalkeeper Edward Olak were shown the door following repeated errors, with Jerry Onyango brought in to steady the unit.

Mathare are winless in their last two matches, recording a draw and a loss, while Sofapaka have endured a torrid run, losing four and drawing one in their last five outings.

Mathare head coach John Kamau will be hoping for a more clinical display after lamenting missed chances in the previous match against Bidco United.

Mathare are 10th on the table with 15 points, while Batoto ba Mungu occupy 17th place with 12 points.
