His performance also saw him win the Man of the Match award
Collins Neto’s converted penalty in the first half was ultimately enough for Muhoroni Youth as they registered their first win of the 2023-24 FKF Premier League campaign with a 1-0 victory over already struggling Ulinzi Stars at the Muhoroni Stadium on Friday afternoon.
The former Zoo FC striker was at hand to deliver his 40th minute penalty past Ulinzi Stars goalkeeper Stephen Ochieng, giving the hosts a 1-0 lead at the half, and the game winner for Charles Odera’s side.

Following a tough start to the season, the win, which followed up three draws to open up their campaign, pushed them to eight on the log with six points from their first five games.
The shut-out victory also came days after they succumbed to their first defeat of the season; a 0-1 loss to Tusker FC on their travels at the Ruaraka Grounds in Nairobi.
As for the visitors today, it is back to square one for Anthony Kimani after failing to take advantage of a gritty 1-0 win against bottom-placed Sofapaka FC at home last weekend.
The military men are placed 16th on the log with three points from the aforementioned win, having lost four games already, and with a minus three goal difference.
Ulinzi next face Kariobangi Sharks on 7 October, as Muhoroni Youth take on fourth placed KCB on the same day.
