Kenya Police were beaten 3-0 by Posta Rangers
Returning Derrick Otanga scored the all-important goal as KCB saw off ten-man AFC Leopards 1-0 to kickstart their campaign on a winning note at the Kasarani Stadium on Friday afternoon.
Tough-tackling Musa Oundo was given his marching orders in stoppage time of the game and Ingwe had to play the rest of added time with a man less.
This was coach Benard Mwalala's first game in charge of the Bankers since joining from Ulinzi Stars and he will be hoping it was a start of good things to come at the team as they hunt for their maiden league glory.
Tom Juma handed debuts to new signings Hamphrey Katasi with former Nzoia duo of Randy Bakari and Vincent Mahiga also getting starting berths.
However, it was not the best of debuts for Katasi as he had to come off in stoppage time of the first half after going down injured with Maxwell Mulili taking up his place.

Of the keepers from both sides, Bryne Omondi was the busiest and had to pull saves to deny Kevin Kimani, Jaffari Owiti, and Vincent Mahiga all in the first half to keep the scores level.
On resumption for the second half, Benard Mwalala was the first to make changes as Danson Chetambe came in to take the place of Brian Ochieng as the former Ulinzi Stars coach sought to have more attack-minded options in the business half of the game.

At Muhoroni, hosts Muhoroni Youth managed to hold the visiting Nzoia Sugar to a one-all draw.
Dan Wafula opened the scoring 38 minutes in the game after connecting to a cross by Obed Khakina but Collins Neto leveled for the hosts deep in stoppage time of the first half from the spot after Emmanuel Esekon handled in the box.
