K'Ogalo, with three matches left, will hope to win out, and hope for a Kenya Police slip up
FKF Premier League defending champions Gor Mahia once again complicated their chances of potentially winning a record-extending 22nd title after dropping points once again on Sunday 18 May.
Coming off a bitter defeat to lowly Nairobi City Stars, off-color Gor Mahia were again unable to pick points from a side battling relegation, ultimately settling for a barren draw against Murang’a Seal at St. Sebastian Park.

The draw now means that K’Ogalo no longer hold the title-winning cards on their hands, and will now need help from the other teams to forge a route towards an increasingly unlikely league championship.
Gor Mahia, with three games remaining, will need to win them out, and hope leaders Kenya Police to stumble in one of their matches.
An uneventful first half for Gor Mahia only ended up with one real effort on target as Chris Ochieng hit the post inside the first 15 minutes.
The second half provided more pedestrian activity for a much-changed squad that carried four new entries at the break, Seal offering up no chance in front of a home crowd.
Not even Alpha Onyango’s go at goal late on was enough, as Gor Mahia struggled to a side that will be delighted with a point that keeps their hopes of remaining in the top-flight alive.
Elsewhere at Gusii Stadium, any hopes of a Premier League title for Shabana were quickly dashed after suffering a 1-0 defeat to Mara Sugar.

Shabana, who still had a mathematical chance of winning the title, were unable to take advantage of playing at home as they went down to a Cyrus Oucho goal deep in the first half, which offered some relief to the sugar millers in their fight to avoid the drop.
Mara, with two games to play, are 13th on the log, and have a two-point cushion over the teams in the relegation places.
