Ahead of today's matches, Gor Mahia are still at the summit of the league table with 65 points, just one more than AFC Leopards, who narrowed the gap with a 2-0 win over Kakamega Homeboyz on Saturday.

At the other end of the table, relegation-bound Sofapaka are rooted at the bottom of the log with 18 points, with Bidco United and Ulinzi Stars joining them in the relegation zone with 24 and 32 points respectively.

Murang’a Seal vs Gor Mahia

Gor Mahia will face Murang’a Seal at the Nyayo National Stadium from 1615 hrs in today's biggest highlight.

Gor head into the match under intense pressure from Leopards, who already won their match against Homeboyz and will be hoping for a further slip from the league leaders to strengthen their title hopes.

K’Ogalo needed a 97th-minute equalizer by Ebenezer Assifuah to avoid defeat against Police FC and will now be keen to get back to winning ways in order to increase their title chances.

They face a Seal side that has proven to be a hard nut to crack for them in recent times. When the two sides met in January, K’Ogalo staged a second-half comeback to secure a 3-2 win while last season, the two sides drew all their matches.

Bidco United vs Shabana

In the other match of the day, relegation-threatened Bidco United take on Shabana at the Wang’uru Stadium in Kirinyaga County.

The match is very crucial in Bidco’s season as they must win it in order to harbor any shred of hope for survival as any other result would confirm their relegation back to the National Super League (NSL) after six seasons in the top flight.

The Oilers are on an eight-match winless streak and have won just one of their last 28 matches, a statistic that is disturbing heading into today's match.

They face a Shabana side that is also struggling, having failed to win their last three matches including a 1-0 loss to Mara Sugar in midweek.
