FKFPL: Bandari lead in wrong doing
Reading Time: 3min | Wed. 23.06.21. | 20:46
Bandari have gone the last six league games without a win
Bandari FC might have lost their winning touch, at least for now, but they have been consistent elsewhere, in areas that no coach wants consistency.
The Mombasa-based club have gone for the last 6 matches without recording a win, drawing four and losing two in the process. Their last win came against a shambolic Ulinzi Stars then, a 2-0 win at the Green Stadium, Kericho in February.
Despite their poor run, one thing has remained consistent for the Andre Casa Mbungo side; bookings.
The Dockers lead the bookings chart, with 45 cards in total where 43 of those are yellow and two red cards awarded to William Wadri and Brian Odera.

It is one of the three teams that have seen more than one player serve a suspension after accumulating five yellow cards, with the other two teams being Nzoia Sugar and Kariobangi Sharks. Amai Atariza and Benard Odhiambo have missed matches after being on the referee's book five times.
A total of 18 players, same as KCB, have received a booking for Bandari. Only Sofapaka has more with 19.
Nine of the 45 bookings have happened between the resumption of the league in mid-May, and now. Meaning that Bandari have received two bookings in every match they have played since May, having in mind that they have played four matches.
So, where have most of Bandari's bookings occurred?
Bandari have been aggressive defensively though they have let in 23 goals. The entire backline starting with the last line of defence in Justin Ndikumana have all received a booking at some point.

More than half of the total bookings have all come from their defensive quota, more likely indicating that their aggressive defensive style has forced the players to take on for the team at some point.
Left-back Atariza has accumulated the most cards with seven, all of them yellows. No one in the entire league this season has accumulated more cards than Atariza. His defensive counterpart Odhiambo follows closely with six, the second-most in the league tied with four others; Posta Rangers' Elvis Osok, Nzoia Sugar's Kevin Juma, and Gor Mahia's Ernest Wendo.

The other pieces in defence have received their bookings as well, with Ndikumana having accumulated three, Odera four - three yellows and a red, and Mohamed Siraj two.
Felly Mulumba, who rejoined the team earlier in the year, has received two bookings already.
Bandari will play Kariobangi Sharks on Friday at Mbaraki Grounds, a team that has received 15 cards less than they have and will be seeking to bounce back to their winning ways rather than continue their bookings consistency.
