FKF Women’s Cup: Holders Ulinzi Starlets to begin title defense away to Gusii Starlets

Reigning FKF Women’s Cup champions Ulinzi Starlets will begin their journey towards reclaiming their title with an away trip to play Gusii Starlets in the opening round of the competition following a draw conducted on Thursday morning.

In a draw, 32 Kenyan women's sides were pooled in two pots; Pot A and B, and matched up against each other in a total of 16 matches.

The draw format for the competition getting in its second edition involved the top six Premier League sides five teams in Division One Zone A and B as part of Pot A - away teams while Pot B (home teams) had 16 teams; six of which were drawn from County and Regional Leagues.
