The selection of the Best Team of 2025 could spark plenty of debate. The Ideal XI looks as follows: Donnarumma – Hakimi, Pacho, Van Dijk, Mendes – Palmer, Bellingham, Vitinha, Pedri – Yamal, Dembele. Dembele led Paris Saint-Germain to their first-ever Champions League title, contributing eight goals and six assists, and also spearheaded Les Parisiens to a domestic treble in France. With PSG, he additionally reached the final of the FIFA Club World Cup.
Luis Enrique is considered equally responsible for Paris Saint-Germain’s phenomenal results last season, with his tactical hallmark best illustrated by the dominant 5–0 victory over Inter in the final in Munich. Last season, PSG also recorded outstanding wins against Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, and Enrique was not blamed for the defeat in the Club World Cup final, even though PSG were the favorites.
Like Dembele, he was also named the best in Ligue 1.

As with the France Football awards, Donnarumma received this prestigious honor for the first time. He delivered numerous brilliant performances between the posts for PSG and is now also excelling as the goalkeeper of Manchester City. He finished ahead of top-class goalkeepers such as Alisson Becker, Thibaut Courtois, Emiliano Martinez, Manuel Neuer, David Raya, Yann Sommer, and Wojciech Szczesny.
